This Wynns Coonawarra Estate Shiraz has a deep, bold flavour with strong notes of dark, ripe summer fruits, including plum and blackberry, complemented by a subtle taste of spice. The colour of the wine also is a rich plum-purple. Very drinkable, this is an easy drinking wine to enjoy either on its own or with an evening meal. I found it slightly acidic, but otherwise really excellent quality and a pleasure to drink.

This bottle of Wynns Coonawarra Estate Shiraz has a screw top so it can be opened quickly without fuss. The colour of this red wine is plum purple. The smell is of dark fruits and spices: mulberry and cherry 🍒🍓 The fruity Shiraz complements Papa John's BBQ Chicken Pizza very well! It's so easy to drink—it's just lovely! I write this on 31 Jan 2025 and the price is £12.50. I think it's worth it—it's fantastic. This is clearly a top-shelf premium wine. I'm no expert but even I can appreciate how good it is!

There's something special about opening a bottle of wine that resonates perfectly with your meal, and the Wynns Coonawarra Estate Shiraz did just that for us tonight. As soon as we poured it into our glasses, we were greeted with a vibrant purple-red hue that immediately hinted at the wine's richness. The aroma was inviting, weaving together dark fruits, spices, and subtle floral notes that promised an intricate taste experience. The first sip was an explosion of flavours on the palate. The generous hints of mulberry and blackberry were not only juicy but were complemented by a refined structure that finished with nuances of cedar, nutmeg, and a hint of fragrant bay leaf. It's a testament to Wynns Coonawarra Estate's reputation and their dedication since 1952 to producing top-tier Shiraz that celebrates its cool climate origins. We paired it with a meat dish, and the wine's profile effortlessly complemented the smoky tones of our meal. It's the kind of red wine that beckons you for a second glass and then a third. Both my partner and I were unanimous in our appreciation, making it an immediate favourite in our household. Not to mention, the wine offers remarkable value for its quality. For anyone who loves a full-bodied, fruity red with a bold character, I wholeheartedly recommend Wynns Coonawarra Estate Shiraz. Cheers to many more shared bottles! 🍷🌟 Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Opened this with dinner tonight and ended up drinking the lot. A very rich fruity wine which went well with our meat course. It has a nice tang to the taste and is one of those wines where you want more than one glass. My partner liked it too so its a winner in our house plus its good value for money. If you like a fruity read with a bold taste then this one should be on your ones to try.
