At this price point, I don't think you can find a better rose wine; it's a real palate pleaser. I'm a fan of wine that's mostly dry with a hint of sweetness and a characteristic fruit flavour whereas my wife prefers sweeter wine, so it has been quite difficult to find something we both enjoy. Hardy's Shiraz Rose is that rare wine that we both really love and, at under £6 a bottle (information correct on January 31st, 2021) when buying it in a case of six, it's a quality wine at a very reasonable price. Yes, it is a slightly sweeter taste that I would usually go for, but the fruitiness and all-round flavour makes it extremely enjoyable when well chilled. I was so confident of Hardy's Shiraz Rose's appeal that I ended up buying a case just before Christmas and sending a few bottles out as presents, getting some very good feedback from the happy recipients. Seeing as we're down to our last bottle, I thought I'd best order another case, seeing as this lockdown doesn't seem to show any sign of ending any time soon. Cheers!

I came across this lovely wine by accident on Amazon and thought it looked too good to be true for the price. I purchased a box of six bottles for my wife. She was amazed at good it tasted and was amazed at how little it costs. Australian wines seem to be quite keenly priced on Amazon this year with the Hardys frequently turning up for less than £30/6 which is a good deal on a nicely fruity and inoffensive Rose wine I could happily dispose of the traditional way on a daily basis.
