I was surprised, it is very smooth to drink. The first taste that hits you is fruit. The description states it is 13% but the bottle label says 14.5%. I'm not sure, having no measuring equipment but it tastes 13%ish. I do recommend it though.

While this may not be the first Amazon wine I have tried it is the first in the most recent batch. I checked out this Amazon Brand Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon to see what it could deliver. First impressions were reasonable as it comes in a standard size bottle with a screw cap. The wine is a good rich colour. The taste was bold, with dark fruit flavours and a hint of something else that was difficult to pin down. It makes for a drinkable combination either on its own or with something like beef. Overall then this is a decent wine given where its pitched that comes recommended from me.

Wir haben diesen recht ordentlichen Tischwein wochenlang gerne genommen, da er noch im ersten Quartal 2024 ein unschlagbares Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis geboten hat. Doch die Rotweine von Amazon scheinen allgemein eine überdurchschnittliche Preissteigerung zu erfahren, sodass - besonders bei diesem Produkt - mit fast 5,50 Euro/Flasche Preisregionen von wesentlich besseren Markenprodukten wie Käfer oder Freixenet erreicht werden. Wir können auch die enorme Preissteigerung von 3,33 EUR Ende Mai über 3,99 EUR Ende Juni bis hin zu 5,49 EUR Ende Juli nicht nachvollziehen. Für 5,49 EUR ist dieser an sich akzeptable, fruchtige Tischwein definitiv keine Empfehlung mehr wert - für diesen Preis gibt es besseres.
